We usually share information with the Irish Dancer website, but they may have documents that we don't and vice versa. If you don't see what you need here try http://www.irish-dancer.co.uk
The above documents are in Adobe Acrobat 'PDF' format and/or some other common format. Many modern computers can read these files. If your web browser can't display the PDF format directly, you can still download the document to your own hard disk and use a copy of the free Acrobat Reader to read it and other documents.
- If you just want to read the document, click the appropriate link. The document should be displayed in your web browser.
- If you want to download the PDF to your own hard disk, right click the link and then choose 'save as...' or 'save target as...' from the pop-up menu.
If you don't have a copy of the Acrobat Reader:
- If you are a member of the McGahan Lees Academy, there is an Acrobat Reader installation CD available for loan. Contact the Webmaster for information.
- If you don't have the Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can download a free copy from the Adobe website. Click the 'Get Acrobat Reader' button, but be warned that the installation package is fairly large and may take a while to download.
Why PDF Format?
We are sometimes asked why we use the Acrobat PDF format. There are a number of reasons:
- It means we can scan the documents sent to us rather than retyping them, avoiding additional errors.
- Not having to retype means we can get documents onto the website faster.
- The files are usually smaller than equivalent Word or Excel documents.
- PDFs can be read on any computer system providing you have the free Acrobat Reader.
